About the Doublecut Carve Top
This guitar model really gave the L'Esperance brand a place in the world. I really wanted to create a guitar that would satisfy all types of players out there. It has a set neck construction with a thinner than usual body thickness that lends to a lighter weight feel. These things play so smooth, they practically play by themselves.
$2999.00. Mahogany (Chambered) body, Curly maple top and Mahogany neck, all maple binding on neck and body, L'Esperance Signature Series II Neck/bridge humbuckers w vol/tone, single coil push/pulls and 3 way switch. Hipshot bridge and tuners. Chrome hardware. Amber burst Acrylic Urethane finish.
Specs:
25" scale set neck construction with 22 frets. Deep carved body top. Easy accessibility to entire fingerboard. Carbon fiber rods and Double action truss rod adjusted via a spoke wheel located after the 22nd fret of the fingerboard. Hipshot bridge and tuners are standard. There are many options to choose from that will take a standard model to a Special model such as figured wood tops, fingerboard binding, real or faux body top binding, matching figured headstock plates, transparent finishes, ect... like the example on this page.
